Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
Your Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is a contract between you and your bargaining unit (PACTE/LIUNA). Like any contract, it contains terns and conditions of your employment. These terms and conditions must be honored by both the employee and the employer. Our contracts are typically for three year periods and are the result of negotiations between your fellow Chapter Board members and a LIUNA representative(s) (Negotiation Team) and City negotiators from the Human Resources department. However, contracts can be for more or less than three years. You are strongly advised to review your MOU so that you can “be in the know” about your employment with the City of Pasadena.
